We also address the misconception of lack of consequences for our sinful actions once we are forgiven. Perhaps the subtitle of this study is the "Consequences of Forgiven Sin"

This is our third podcast discussing Hebrews chapter ten. We continue to look at the sacrifice Jesus offered as compared to all of the sacrifices ever offered under the old covenant and find that Jesus' is superior. His work is finished since he is the only High Priest ever to sit down in God the Father's presence.
Additionally, we look at reasons believers are commanded to come together in fellowship and communion.

Christ death was the atonement for our sins, thus allowing us access back into the presence of God the Father. What does the term atonement mean? Having looked at Hebrews chapter 8 where we discussed the superiority of Christ’s High Priesthood and chapter 9 where we compared the earthly tabernacle with the Heavenly Tabernacle. We now turn our attention in chapter 10 to the sacrifice Jesus offers compared to all of the sacrifices ever offered under the Old Testament Covenant.
