The remnant will return

The prophecy of Christ's birth, His attributes, and reign

Isaiah a ananr prophecy against Damascus and Israel and their destruction and being carried off into captivity. But he also announces that a remnant will be saved. God always protects those who truly trust in God - the Remnant.

Isaiah predicts the future. A distant army will attack Judah, and no amount of treasure will save you from the invaders. 

We are commanded to stand firm in our faith. Additionally, God offers to "prove" his trustworthiness by giving King Ahaz a sign. But the King, in false humility, won't choose so God provides His own sign - a virgin will give birth to a son.

Isaiah sees God in His Holy Temple and offers to be God's voice to the nation, and is cleansed of his sin.

Isaiah pronounces Woe upon those who identify evil as good and good as evil.

The Prophet talks about the pride of the people of Judah and how they will be brought low. And Christ will bring protection and justice for all.

Only the Lord is to be exalted and worshiped.

We see two examples of inclusios (and one is inside the other. 

vv. 2:10-21 and 2:11-17. 

When Judah is restored, many people will join them in worship of Yahweh.
